Interact was conceived over a number of years but finally came to being in 1977. It was the original idea of Sean Fenner, a Structural Engineer and Alan Gaskell, a Quantity Surveyor. Ray Faulks later made up the triumvirate. more here

How to join Interact?

The normal route to membership is by invitation through your local branch.

Anyone interested in joining should contact their local branch chairman, and ask if it is possible to be invited as a guest to a lunch meeting. This will allow you to see what Interact is all about, and to meet some of the other local members.

Opportunities to join are at the discretion of the Branch Chairmen who when appropriate will offer an application form for completion and final consideration. Read more about joining
